Today, in Zagreb, a ceremonial signing of contracts for the co-financing of international sports competitions and projects related to the construction, renovation, maintenance, equipment, and reconstruction of sports facilities in the year 2024 took place. The Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia will co-finance the organisation of 25 major international sports competitions with a total value of €5,416,763.00, as well as 84 projects related to sports infrastructure with a total value of €9,933,595.00.
In the presence of the Minister of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia, Nikolina Brnjac, and the state secretaries Tomislav Družak and Josip Pavić, the President of the Croatian Karate Union, Davor Cipek, signed the contract for the allocated financial resources for the organisation and implementation of the European Senior Karate and Para-Karate Championships Zadar 2024.
Thanks to the support of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia, the Croatian Karate Union will be able to successfully organise and conduct this spectacular event.
