Croatian para-athlete Julija Karadakić won a silver medal at the European Championships

On the last day of the European Senior Karate and Para-Karate Championships Zadar 2024, the final Croatian competitor, para-athlete Julija Karadakić, competed in the final of the category K30. The more successful in the final was the Turkish athlete Nesrin Cavadzade, which earned Julija the silver medal.

Ultimately, Croatia secured third place on the medal table in karate with a total of 4 medals (3 golds and a bronze), and third place on the medal table in para-karate with 3 medals won (1 gold and 2 silvers).

  • 1st place – Ivan Martinac (-75 kg)
  • 1st place – Ema Sgardelli (-50 kg)
  • 3rd place – Ivan Kvesić (-84 kg)
  • 5th place – Boran Berak (-67 kg)
  • 5th place – Croatian Female Team Kumite (Mia Greta Zorko, Lea Vukoja, Lucija Lesjak, Sadea Bećirović & Nikolina Golomboš)

  • 1st place – Daniela Topić (K22)
  • 2nd place – Stipe Barić (K22)
  • 2nd place – Julija Karadakić (K30)

  • 7th place – Roko Boduljak (K22) 
  • 9th place – Antonio Šaršanski (K30)
