Press conference held in Zagreb

Two weeks before the European Senior Karate and Para-Karate Championships Zadar 2024, a Press conference was held in Zagreb, attended by the State Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, Tomislav Družak, the President of the Croatian Karate Federation, the Secretary General of the European Karate Federation, and the Assistant Secretary General of the World Karate Federation, Davor Cipek, as well as athletes Lucija Lesjak, Anđelo Kvesić, Enes Garibović, Dino Huić, and Stipe Barić.

Registrations for the Championships are still open and currently count almost 700 competitors from 51 countries. The largest continental tournament will take place from 8 to 12 May at the Krešimir Ćosić Sports Hall in the Višnjik Sports Center, with free entry for spectators. There are high expectations from the hosts, the Croatian Karate Team, which boasts 111 senior medals from World and European championships. Even the athletes themselves have not hidden the fact that they are in good form and are expecting a top-notch karate tournament in Zadar.
